Valencia Basket proves its good shape on the hard court of the Río Breogán

Valencia Basket will have a tough clash in the Endesa League before the break in the competition for the Copa del Rey and the national team games, visiting the Río Breogán court (Sunday 13, 5:00 p.m., Pazo dos Deportes, Movistar Deportes 2) in a game corresponding to the acb round 22.

 

The taronja squad will put into play a streak that is already five wins in a row in the Endesa League, ten wins in the last eleven games and its excellent performances as a visitor in national competition (only one loss in the acb after nine away-games) on the court of a team that has the third best record at home in the acb (7-2, only behind Baxi Manresa and Surne Bilbao Basket).

 

The Galician team in the first leg was far superior to the taronja squad during the first three quarters of a game that ended with a 97-98 win with 44 index for Musa, being the last team that has been able to knock down Valencia Basket in acb.

 

Coach Joan Peñarroya will have his entire squad to face a game in which if Víctor Claver returns to play in the Endesa League after having minutes in the interweekly match, he will reach the figure of 250 games as a taronja and in which Mike Tobey can play his 200th match with our men's team.

 

A taronja victory would balance the precedents in the Pazo dos Deportes (which currently leads the sky-blue team with an 8-7). Valencia Basket currently occupies the fourth position in the Endesa League, with a balance of 12-6.
